The aim of this course is to understand the role of accounting and financial management in decision-making processes and to recognize the usage areas of accounting and financial management in businesses. The course aims to understand the importance of the basic concepts of accounting and financial management in the business world and to understand how businesses use accounting and financial management.​

IBM 503 - Global Leadership and Financial Management (3+0)3, 7.5

This course provides the principles of marketing mnagement toward a marketing-oriented view of business; explaining the “marketing concept” and related with marketing mix, regard to consumer needs, marketing research, B2B marketing, positioning, branding, pricing, distribution, selling, advertising, promotions, digital marketing and CRM. The course will focus on the human side of leadership and management in a global context, exploring how successful leaders have built effective organizations and companies through essential competences, relationships, visions and interaction within and across businesses. The course will focus on the development of the students’ ability to think critically about the complexity of the direct, indirect, and interactive impact of these factors on leading within multinational organizations that operate worldwide. 

IBM 524 -Academic Research Methods and Ethics (3+0)3, 7.5

This course will emphasize topics such as: Basic concepts and principles of research methods; research process (recognizing the problem, identifying the problem and sample, collecting and analyzing data, interpreting results); general features of data collection tools; analysis and evaluation of data; access to articles, theses and databases; research models and types; basic paradigms in scientific research; quantitative, qualitative and mixed research designs; sampling, data collection, analysis of data in qualitative research; validity and reliability in qualitative research; article or thesis review, evaluation and presentation; preparing a research report in accordance with research principles and ethics.

This course involves practical applications related to thesis writing, including developing a research question, conducting a literature review, determining the research method, defining the theoretical framework, reporting findings, and conducting practical applications. The aim is to prepare students for academic research and the thesis-writing process.

The aim of the course is; to encourage students to participate in various activities during the semester, to raise awareness about entrepreneurship and to contribute to students' entrepreneurial abilities.
